Create a beautiful focal point in your next garden design with Espaliered Trees.  Plantmark have a great range of Espaliers, including Camellias, Limes, Lemons, Magnolias, Olives and Fruit Trees.

Espaliers suit a wide range of garden types such as modern, formal or even Japanese styles.  And are a perfect space-saving idea for smaller gardens.  Ideally these trees are grown against warm sunny walls, but free-standing trees on wires can create stunning screens as well.

Espaliers are also very effective to use for shading against west or north facing walls, great for keeping the indoors cooler in the hotter months as they form another layer of insulation.

If you are up to the challenge you may like to have a go creating your own Espaliers.  There are many different patterns you can train your trees to grow.  Choose a symmetrical pattern or you may prefer a more informal espalier which can take almost any shape.  Whichever style you choose, espaliers require regular pruning and training to achieve the flat, two dimensional effect.
